Abstract:

Disclosed is a disc transfer device, which transfers, in the first direction, a disc at a first position to a third position via a second position, and which has a roller, roller supporting mechanism, first retaining member, second retaining member, and retaining member supporting mechanism. The roller rotates, on one side in the second direction orthogonal to the first direction, in a state of being in contact with a disc end surface, until the disc reaches the third position from the first position. The roller supporting mechanism supports the roller such that the roller can move in the first and second directions and is continuously in contact with the disc. The first retaining member extends in the first direction, and, on the other side in the second direction, the first retaining member is in contact with the disc end surface in the second direction until the disc reaches at least the second position from the first position. On the other side in the second direction, the second retaining member is in contact with the disc end surface until the disc reaches the third position from the second position. The retaining member supporting mechanism supports the second retaining member such that the second retaining member can move in the first and second directions and is continuously in contact with the disc.
