Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of batteries. Disclosed are a discharge method and apparatus for a waste traction battery. The discharge method for a waste traction battery comprises: placing a battery in a safe environment; and applying pressure to destroy the internal structure of the battery, so that the battery is short-circuited and discharged. The discharge method for a waste traction battery provided in the present invention has the characteristics of a fast discharge speed, complete discharge, easy operation and wide applicability.
