Abstract:
A discontinuous coverage communication method and device, and a computer-readable storage medium. The communication method comprises: in a current coverage time period, acquiring a broadcast first system message. The first system message comprises the coverage time period corresponding to N satellites entering a current cell after the current coverage time period, wherein N is greater than or equal to 1. The scheme can prevent a terminal device from being waked up in each coverage time period, reduce the number of times of obtaining unnecessary system information, and lower the power consumption of the terminal device.
