Description:
A DISHWASHER COMPRISING A CUSTOMIZED SPRAYING MEMBER

The present invention relates to a dishwasher comprising a customized spraying member.

In dishwashers, the washing process is realized by spraying the water received from the water delivery line onto the dishes by means of spray arms. Water is sprayed onto the items placed in the rack by means of the spray arms. In order to spray water homogeneously onto all the items in the dishwasher, the spray arms rotate around themselves at different rpms and speeds. Thus, the water is enabled to be delivered onto the items at an angle. Water can reach a larger area as the density and the speed thereof increase. Thus, the washing performance is increased. In the spray arms of the dishwashers, the water is taken from the center of the spray arm and delivered to the ends. The water outlet from the spray arm starts from the nozzles closer to the center and ends at the end nozzles. The end nozzles are more critical than center nozzles in providing the targeted washing sweeping area due to their moment power as they are far from the center and due to the user rack placement in the dishwasher. However, the potentially high water flow rate is higher at the center nozzles, and the water flow rate is lower at the end nozzles since the water is discharged through the nozzles closer to the center before reaching the end nozzles.

In the state of the art European Patent Document No. EP1731081, a dishwasher is disclosed, comprising a spraying member which has nozzles thereon and which is customized so as to regulate the water flow at the connection region.

The aim of the present invention is the realization of a dishwasher with improved washing performance.

The dishwasher realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention, explicated in the first claim and the respective claims thereof, comprises a body; a washing tub which is disposed in the body; at least one rack which is disposed in the washing tub; at least one spraying member which sprays water onto the rack; an opening which enables the spraying member to be attached to the washing tub; and a plurality of nozzles which are provided on the spraying member. The water taken from the mains into the washing tub is delivered to the spraying member to be sent into the washing tub. The spraying member is attached to the washing tub by means of the opening and the water is delivered to the spraying member through the opening. The water moving through the spraying member is delivered onto the kitchen items in the rack by means of the nozzles.

The dishwasher of the present invention comprises an initial nozzle which is farther away from the opening and a wall which enables the water to be delivered into the washing tub first from the initial nozzle. By means of the wall, the water is enabled to be delivered to the initial nozzle through the opening and to be discharged first from the same.

In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher comprises the wall which is disposed around the nozzles such that the water is not delivered to the nozzles between the opening and the initial nozzle. By disposing the wall around the nozzles, the water entering the spraying member through the opening is delivered to the initial nozzle and discharged first from the initial nozzle.

In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher comprises a channel which enables the water to be delivered to the other nozzles after passing through the initial nozzle. Thus, the water is guided towards the other nozzles after passing through the initial nozzle.

In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher comprises the nozzle having inclined surfaces compatible with the flow direction of the water. Thus, the water is enabled to be discharged through the nozzles depending on the flow direction.

By means of the present invention, a dishwasher is realized, wherein the washing performance is increased by delivering water to the comers of the washing tub by means of a customized spraying member.

A dishwasher realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention is illustrated in the attached figures, where:

Figure 1 - is the perspective view of the dishwasher. Figure 2 - is the perspective view of the spraying member.

Figure 3 - is the perspective view of the spraying member and the wall.

The elements illustrated in the figures are numbered as follows:

1- Dishwasher

2- Body

3- Washing tub

4- Rack

5- Spraying member

6- Opening

7- Nozzle

8- Initial nozzle

9- Wall

10- Channel

The dishwasher (1) comprises a body (2); a washing tub (3) which is arranged in the body (2) and wherein the washing process is realized; at least one rack (4) which is disposed in the washing tub (3) and whereon the kitchen items to be washed are placed; at least one spraying member (5) which enables the water to be sprayed onto the kitchens items placed in the rack (4); an opening (6) which is provided on the spraying member (5), which enables the spraying member (5) to be attached to the washing tub (3) and which enables the water to be delivered first to the spraying member (5); and a plurality of nozzles (7) which enable the water to be discharged from the spraying member (5). The water delivered into the washing tub (3) is sent to the spraying member (5) through the opening (6). The water delivered to the spraying member (5) through the opening (6) is send onto the kitchen items placed in the rack (4) by means of the nozzles (7). Thus, the cleaning process is performed.

The dishwasher (1) of the present invention comprises an initial nozzle (8) on the spraying member (5) which is furthest away from the opening (6) and at least one wall (9) which enables the water coming through the opening (6) to be delivered into the washing tub (3) first from the initial nozzle (8). The initial nozzle (8) is located in the region furthest from the opening (6) on the spraying member (5). Thus, the water delivered to the spraying member (5) is first sent to the initial nozzle (8). It is ensured that the water delivered to the initial nozzle (8) is sent into the washing tub (3) with high momentum without any decrease. By means of the initial nozzle (8) located at the ends of the spraying member (5), efficient washing of the comers of the washing tub (3) is provided. Thus, the washing performance is increased.

In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher (1) comprises the wall (9) which is disposed around the nozzles (7) so as to prevent the water from being delivered to the nozzles (7) between the opening (6) and the initial nozzle (8). By means of the wall (9) disposed around the nozzles (7), the water entering the spraying member (5) through the opening (6) is first delivered to the initial nozzle (8) without being sent to the nozzles (7).

In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher (1) comprises a channel (10) which enables the water to be delivered to the other nozzles (7) after being sent to the initial nozzle (8). After being delivered to the initial nozzle (8), the water is sent to the nozzles (7) located on the edges. The delivery direction of the water is determined by means of a channel (10) located on the spraying member (5). Thus, the order of the nozzles (7) for delivering the water is determined.

In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher (1) comprises the nozzle (7) having inclined surfaces compatible with the flow direction of the water and the order of the nozzles (7). By means of the inclined structure of the nozzles (7) compatible with the flow direction of the water, the water delivery is facilitated and the water delivery is provided in various directions. Thus, the water is delivered to different areas in the washing tub (3) and the washing performance is increased.

By means of the present invention, a dishwasher (1) is realized, wherein the flow order of the nozzles (7) is controlled by means of a wall (9) located between the nozzles (7) and the comers are washed efficiently by means of the initial nozzles (8). Thus, the comer areas in the washing tub (3) are enabled to be efficiently washed and the washing performance is increased.
