Title:
DISINFECTANT AND/OR ANTIBACTERIAL ARTICLE AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/189574
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention provides a disinfectant and/or antibacterial article characterized in that at least some of the surface of the article is constituted of a flexible member formed from a polymeric elastic material having a solubility parameter (SP value) of 10 (MPa1/2) or greater but not greater than 25 (MPa1/2), that the polymeric elastic material, which constitutes the flexible member, holds molecular hypochlorous acid therein by sorption, and that the article gradually releases the molecular hypochlorous acid through the surface of the flexible member into the ambient atmosphere to thereby exhibit disinfectant and/or antibacterial properties.
