Abstract:
The present invention facilitates the recognition of a real object that has approached, and reduces image complexity. A first visibility adjustment unit 73 acquires the position of a real object 300, and gradually reduces the visibility of a relevant information image V1 as the distance to the real object 300 decreases, or as the real object 300 approaches the outer edge of a display region 11. A second visibility adjustment unit 74 acquires a gazing range GZ of a viewer, increases the visibility of the relevant information image V1 when it is determined that the relevant information image V1 was gazed at, and then gradually lowers the visibility on the basis of the travel distance of a vehicle or the elapsed time.
