Abstract:
In order to reduce the load on a driver, compared to conventional vehicle display devices, the present invention comprises a display unit 2, a lane marker detection unit 6B, a travel state detection unit 6C, and a display control unit 6A. The display control unit 6A: sets one of the lane markers out of the lane markers detected by the lane marker detection unit 6B, to a fixed guide line display; sets the other lane marker as a movable display of the guide line; displays, in the fixed guide line display, the guide line at a constant position relative to one lane marker as viewed by the driver; and, in the movable guide line display, changes the distance to the other lane marker in accordance with the travel position of the host vehicle and displays the guide line, on the basis of the detection results from the travel state detection unit 6C.
