Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to avoid displaying too many objects for route guidance. This display control device includes: an information acquisition unit (11) for acquiring location information of a vehicle, a planned driving route of the vehicle, line-of-sight information, which is information on the direction of a line of sight of a vehicle driver, and map data; a gaze point recognition unit (12) for recognizing the driver's point of gaze ahead of the vehicle, on the basis the location information, line-of-sight information, and map data; an object generation unit (13) for generating an object for route guidance, on the basis of a difference between the point of gaze and a planned driving route beyond a specific point which is a branch point or an intersection point of driving roads ahead of the vehicle; and a display control unit (14) for causing the object to be displayed on a HUD (35) mounted on the vehicle.
