An HCU is used in a vehicle (A) and functions as a display control device that controls the display of content on a head-up display. The HCU acquires boundary information pertaining to a host-vehicle lane (Lns) that is recognized for the purpose of controlling driving of the vehicle (A), and causes predicted trajectory content (CTp) indicating a predicted trajectory to be displayed superimposed over a road surface on the basis of the boundary information. Furthermore, the HCU acquires guidance information used in route guidance, and causes route guidance content (CTgs) for providing guidance on a route using guidance points (GP) to be displayed on the basis of the guidance information. When both the predicted trajectory content (CTp) and the route guidance content (CTgs) are to be displayed, the HCU causes the predicted trajectory content (CTp) and the route guidance content (CTgs) to be displayed in mutually different states.
