Abstract:
The present invention provides a display device and a channel recommendation method, applied to the technical field of display. The display device comprises: a display; and a controller, configured to: receive a channel recommendation operation input by a user, and in response to the channel recommendation operation, generate a channel recommendation request comprising request parameter information; send the channel recommendation request to a server, such that the server acquires, on the basis of the request parameter information, a live channel list, a recommended channel list, and multimedia content information corresponding to each recommended channel in the recommended channel list, the live channel list comprising the recommended channel list; receive the live channel list, the recommended channel list, and the multimedia content information sent by the server; and control the display to display the multimedia content information at different positions on the basis of a current display interface of the display.
