[Problem] To provide a display device whereby display quality can be improved. [Solution] Provided is display device comprising: a pixel array part in which a plurality of pixel groups, each including two or more pixels arranged in a first direction, are arranged in a second direction which intersects with the first direction; light-emitting elements which are provided to the pixels in the pixel array part; first transistors which are provided to the pixels in the pixel array part and control light emission luminance of the light-emitting elements; first capacitors which are provided to the pixels in the pixel array part and connect the gates and sources of the first transistors; and a display control unit which carries out a first correction process for simultaneously correcting the threshold voltages of the first transistors in the plurality of pixel groups, then restores the voltages between the sources and gates of the first transistors to the voltages prior to starting the first correction process, subsequently carries out a second correction process for sequentially, in each among the plurality of pixel groups, correcting the threshold voltage of the first transistor thereof, and supplies pixel signal voltages to the gates of the first transistors for which the second correction process has finished.
