Abstract:
This display device comprises first electrodes formed on a substrate by being arranged in a two-dimensional matrix, a partition wall part provided between adjacent first electrodes and having a cross-sectional shape in which the width decreases commensurately with the distance from the substrate, an organic layer that is formed over the entire surface including the first electrodes and the partition wall part and that is constituted by layering a plurality of material layers, and a second electrode that is formed over the entire surface including the organic layer, wherein, among the plurality of material layers constituting the organic layer, the material layer located closest to the second electrode is formed such that the resistance of a section located above an oblique surface of the partition wall part is greater than the resistance of a section located above the first electrode.
