Abstract:
This display device is provided with: a display panel for displaying an image; an illumination device for emitting light to the display panel; multiple light sources which function as the light emitting source for the illumination device and which are divided so as to belong to one of at least three chromaticity regions arranged so as to be adjacent to one another in a CIE 1931 chromaticity coordinate depending on the chromaticity of the emitted light; and a light source substrate on which multiple light sources constituting the illumination device are mounted in a manner such that at least two light sources belonging to at least two chromaticity regions that are in a point symmetric positional relationship relative to the center of at least three chromaticity regions in the CIE 1931 chromaticity coordinate are arranged adjacent to one another.
