Abstract:
A liquid crystal display device (1) comprises: an adjustment setting unit (11); a color component adjustment unit (14); and a background color setting unit (12). When the adjustment setting unit (11) performs a color component adjustment, the background color setting unit (12) performs a second processing for setting a background color, while the color component adjustment unit (14) performs a first processing for converting the gradation of a picture element. When the adjustment setting unit (11) does not perform the color component adjustment, the background color setting unit (12) does not perform the second processing and the color component adjustment unit (14) does not perform the first processing.
