Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to reduce yellow shift around blue LEDs in a backlight using blue LEDs and a color conversion sheet. In order to achieve the purpose, the present invention assumes a configuration such as the following. A display device having a display panel and a backlight is characterized in that: the backlight has a plurality of LEDs 31 disposed on a substrate 33, and a color conversion sheet 40 disposed between the plurality of LEDs 31 and the display panel; the color conversion sheet 40 is formed by a color conversion material 41 and a binder 42; and the color conversion sheet 40 has a ring-shaped region in which the color conversion material is not present, so as to surround the respective LEDs 31 in a plan view.
