Abstract:
Provided are a display member in which display cracking and other defects do not readily occur despite the display member being scratch-resistant, a head-up display device provided with the display member, and a method for manufacturing the display member. The display member according to the present invention for reflecting or diffracting display light from a light source toward an observer and displaying the display light as a display image and making the display image visible to the observer has a base material molded from a first thermoplastic resin, and an outer layer material for covering at least a portion of the surface of the base material, the outer layer material being formed from a second thermoplastic resin having greater hardness than the first thermoplastic resin.
