A display substrate and a display device. The display substrate comprises a base substrate (100), sub-pixels (200), signal lines (300), and signal line connection lines (400). The base substrate (100) comprises a first region (101) and a second region (102); the number of the sub-pixels (200) arranged in a first direction in the first region (101) is greater than the number of the sub-pixels (200) arranged in the first direction in the second region (102); each signal line (300) is electrically connected to the sub-pixels (200) arranged in the first direction; the signal line connection lines (400) are electrically connected to the signal lines (300) located in the second region (102), and at least part of each signal line connection line (400) extends in the first direction. The display substrate further comprises overlapping wires (500), the overlapping wires (500) are arranged at intervals and located on different layers with the signal line connection lines (400), and the orthographic projection of at least one signal line connection line (400) on the base substrate is completely located within the orthographic projection of at least one overlapping wire (500) on the base substrate. According to the display substrate, on the premise that the light transmittance of the display substrate directly facing a frame sealing adhesive is satisfied, the overlapping area between the signal line connection lines (400) and the overlapping wires (500) is increased, thereby improving the display effect.
