Abstract:
A display substrate, a preparation method therefor, and a display apparatus. The display substrate has an opening region (C), a display region (A) at least partially surrounding the opening region (C), and an opening peripheral region (B) between the opening region (C) and the display region (A), and the display substrate comprises a base substrate (1011). The opening peripheral region (B) comprises a first barrier dam (D1) disposed on the base substrate (1011), and an insulating protective layer (DP) disposed on the side of the first barrier dam (D1) away from the base substrate (1011). The first barrier dam (D1) at least partially surrounds the opening region (C). The insulating protective layer (DP) comprises at least one first material removal region (DP1). A projection of the first material removal region (DP1) on the base substrate (1011) overlaps with a projection of the first barrier dam (D1) on the base substrate (1011). In the at least one first material removal region (DP1), the material of the insulating protective layer (DP) is at least partially removed so as to form a recess in the insulating protective layer (DP) or a through hole penetrating through the insulating protective layer (DP). A display panel has relatively high production yield.
