Abstract:
An organic EL device having merits which organic materials and inorganic material have, a high efficiency, and a long life, and produced at low cost, comprising a couple of a hole injection electrode (2) and a cathode (6), an organic layer (4) provided between the electrodes, having at least a light-emitting function, and including a light-emitting layer containing a conjugated polymer, and an inorganic electron injection layer (5) provided between the organic layer (4) and the cathode (6), including a conductive path for blocking holes and for transporting electrons, and having a high resistance.
