Abstract:
For a commit request from an application, a request processing unit transmits a commit processing request to a director concerned. When a response processing unit has received a response from any one of the directors, the successful commit is reported to the application. When the director is downed and a transaction not solved is present, upon recovery of the director, a director recovery processing unit instructs the recovered director to process the unsolved transaction according to the processing result of the unsolved transaction by other director. Moreover, when the conductor is downed while transmitting a commit processing request to the director and the commit processing request could not be transmitted to some directors, after recovery by the conductor recovery processing unit, an inquiry about an unsolved transaction is performed to each director. The director which has responded is instructed to execute processing of the unsolved transaction according to the processing result of other director for the unsolved transaction responded by the director.
