Abstract:
A distributed-transcoding method for a video file, according to the present invention, is characterized in that it comprises the steps of: dividing audio data and video data of the video file into a plurality of pieces by using a transcoding server computer; constructing fragments of data by partially combining the plurality of pieces; transmitting the fragments of data to a plurality of sub-computers; and generating a transcoded-video file by respectively transcoding the fragments of data using the plurality of sub-computers and by receiving and combining the fragments of data transcoded.
