Provided is a document creation support device for supporting a user to create a logical document fitted to an end. In the process of document creation, the device stimulates a user to think over his/her idea while preventing deviation from the spirit and purpose of the idea. Thus, the device guides the user to create a document with which the user can be satisfied. The document creation device includes: (1) object and effect description support means for supporting the user to describe the object of effect of an idea; (2) block diagram drawing support means for expressing the idea in a block diagram; (3) phrase creation support means for supporting the user to create a phrase describing configuration of each element obtained by dividing the idea expressed in the block diagram and relationship between the elements; (4) syntax support means for supporting the user to create a grammatically correct sentence by combining the phrases; and adjustment support means for adjusting the described sentence in accordance with the object or the effect.
