Abstract:
A door closing device capable of performing excellent door closing operation by forcibly pulling, at a door closing side end section, a sliding door of storage furniture etc. and appropriately reducing the speed of the sliding door immediately before the end of the closure of the door, and also capable of stabilizing the operation of the sliding door at the time of starting the closure and opening of the door. In a casing A fixed to the end part of a guide rail, a hook member (2) is pivotally fixed to a member (1) sliding in an appropriate region. The sliding member (1) is urged to the door closure side through a coil spring (3), a guide travel body B, traveling along the guide rail, moves in the sliding region of the sliding member (1) in a door closing direction from a state where the traveling body (B) engages with the hook member (2). A reciprocating liquid pressure damper (4) consisting of a cylinder housing section (4a), a piston rod (4b), and liquid reduces the moving speed caused by elastic force of the coil spring (3).
