Title:
DOSING DEVICE WITH A LIQUID TRANSFER STATION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/014994
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The invention relates to a dosing device and to a method for the controlled transfer of a liquid, in particular printing ink, varnish, liquid toner, or adhesive. In order to further reduce the maintenance expenditure, in particular of inking systems known from flexographic printing, without any negative effects on the printing quality, a dosing device for the controlled transfer of a liquid, in particular printing ink, varnish, liquid toner, or adhesive, is provided, having a dispensing surface (103, 203, 303, 403), which is moistened with a liquid film for the metered dispensing of the liquid, having a nozzle head (104, 204, 304, 404) for applying the liquid film, having a drive that triggers a relative movement between the nozzle head and the dispensing surface, having a liquid transfer station (102, 302) connected downstream of the nozzle head in the direction of the relative movement, and wherein the liquid can be transferred from the liquid film to a receiving surface, at least partially. The dosing device further comprises a liquid return station (105, 305), which is connected downstream of the fluid transfer station in the direction of the relative movement and is connected upstream of the nozzle head, and wherein liquid is removed from at least one part of the dispensing surface.
