Abstract:
An aspect of the present invention provides a novel dipeptidyl peptidase-IV (DPP-4) inhibitor and a production method therefor. A DPP-4 inhibitor according to an aspect of the present invention includes a fragment obtained by hydrolysis of a microorganism-derived protein with a protease. An article according to another aspect of the present invention is for the prevention and/or improvement of an abnormality that DPP-4 contributes to, and comprises the DPP-4 inhibitor. A DPP-4 inhibitor production method according to another aspect of the present invention comprises a step for hydrolyzing a microorganism-derived protein with a protease.
