Abstract:
Provided is a filter device that, in a configuration in which the resonant frequency of one or more of serial arm resonators is located outside a passband, can prevent a reduction in attenuation near the resonant frequency. A filter device 1 comprises a plurality of serial arm resonators and at least one parallel arm resonator. The plurality of serial arm resonators include at least one first serial arm resonator S1 and at least one second serial arm resonator S2 other than the at least one first serial arm resonator S1. The resonant frequency of the first serial arm resonator S1 is located at a higher frequency than a passband of a filter device 1. The second serial arm resonator S2 has a serial connection configuration in which at least two serial arm resonators S2-1 to S2-3 are connected in series.
The at least two serial arm resonators S2-1 to S2-3 have different anti-resonant frequencies. The resonant frequency of the first serial arm resonator S1 is located between the anti-resonant frequency of a lowest-frequency serial arm resonator and the anti-resonant frequency of a highest-frequency serial arm resonator among the second serial arm resonators S2.
