Title:
DRAINAGE AND EXHAUST STRUCTURE AND METHOD FOR SUBMARINE VACUUM PIPELINE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2022/156093
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The invention discloses a drainage and exhaust structure and method for a submarine vacuum pipeline, which can economically and efficiently discharge seawater and gas from the submarine vacuum pipeline. The drainage and exhaust structure comprises a water collecting pool provided in the submarine vacuum pipeline, the water collecting pool being located below the lowest part of the submarine vacuum pipeline and in communication with the submarine vacuum pipeline, the water collecting pool being provided with a check valve assembly by means of a pipeline, the check valve assembly being configured to enable seawater or gas to be discharged only from the water collecting pool, the check valve assembly being connected to a drainage/exhaust pipe, the upper end of the drainage/exhaust pipe extends above the sea surface to be in communication with the outside; the check valve assembly is further connected to a drainage pump, an outlet of the drainage pump is connected to the drainage/exhaust pipe, and the upper end of the drainage/exhaust pipe is further connected to a vacuum pump; the drainage and exhaust structure further comprises a workship or an offshore platform correspondingly provided at the lowest part of the submarine vacuum pipeline, and the upper end of the drainage/exhaust pipe and the vacuum pump are mounted on the workship or the offshore platform.
