Abstract:
A drill based on one aspect that is not limited by the present disclosure has a body that extends from a first end to a second end along a rotation axis, and is rotatable around the rotation axis. The body includes: a first blade; a second blade extending from the first blade toward the outer circumference, a thinning surface located along the first blade; a groove extending from the second blade and the thinning surface toward the second end; and an outer peripheral surface. The outer peripheral surface includes: a first margin surface located along the groove behind a rotation direction of the rotation axis; a clearance surface located along the first margin surface; and a second margin surface located along the clearance surface. When viewed from the first end, a virtual straight line connecting the rotation axis and the outer peripheral end of the first blade is a first straight line, a virtual straight line that passes through the center of the first straight line and is orthogonal to the first straight line is a second straight line, and the second straight line intersects the second margin surface.
