Abstract:
One embodiment of this drive device rotates an axle of a vehicle, said drive device comprising: a motor having a rotor that rotates about a motor shaft extending in the horizontal direction orthogonal to the vertical direction; a speed reduction device connected to the rotor; a differential device coupled to the motor via the speed reduction device; and a housing accommodating the motor, the speed reduction device, and the differential device therein. The housing has a projection that projects to the top side in the vertical direction, and at least one circumferential rib that extends along the circumferential direction. The projection has a female screw hole into which an eye bolt can be fastened. At least one of the circumferential ribs is linked to the projection.
