Abstract:
The present invention clearly photographs the front and the sides of a vehicle and a vehicle occupant. A drive recorder installation method according to an embodiment of the present invention is for installing, to an automobile, a drive recorder provided with: a camera which has a fish-eye lens of a three-dimensional projection type having a field angle of 220°-250°; and an image processing device which performs image processing on an image photographed by the camera and stores the image in a storage unit. The camera is installed on a straight line connecting a driver's seat and a side mirror on the opposite side of the driver's seat such that the fish-eye lens is facing downward.
