Abstract:
A driving assistance device (24) for a saddle-type vehicle (1) is provided with a riding sensor (37) for detecting the riding posture of a rider (J); a brake device (BR) for braking the vehicle; a brake preparation prompting means (29) for restricting behavior of at least one of the rider (J) or a vehicle body caused by actuation of the brake device (BR) and prompting a change to a brake preparation state; and a control means (27) for controlling drive of the brake device (BR) and the brake preparation prompting means (29), wherein the control means (27) actuates the brake device (BR) with the brake preparation prompting means (29) activated when the brake device (BR) is actuated without operation by the rider (J).
