Abstract:
An electric vacuum cleaner (1) is provided with: a fan (11a) for generating air current; a motor (11b) having two or more coils (111); a dust detection unit (40) for detecting dust; a dust collection part (13) for collecting dust; a connection switching unit (12) for switching a connection state of the coils (111); an invertor (14) connected to the connection switching unit (12); and a control unit (15) for controlling the connection switching unit (12) in accordance with the detection result obtained by the dust detection unit (40).
