Abstract:
A driving assistance device configured so as to assist driving of a vehicle comprises operation acquisition units (13, 15, S91) configured so as to acquire an operating state by a driver with respect to the vehicle, a characteristics acquisition unit (16) configured so as to acquire driving characteristics of the driver on the basis of the operation state acquired by the operation acquisition units, a frequency acquisition unit (17) configured so as to acquire the driving frequency by the driver with respect to the vehicle, and a notification unit (19) configured so as to notify the driver of information pertaining to the driving characteristics acquired by the characteristics acquisition unit at intervals that correspond to the driving frequency acquired by the frequency acquisition unit.
