Provided is a driving assistance device that can perform a brake operation or an accelerator operation by means of an operation bar in a manner similar to what a driver experiences while driving a vehicle regardless of an operation condition of the operation bar. The driving assistance device comprises: an operation bar (2) which extends downward from a manual operation region in which a driver (D) seated in a driver's seat (76) can perform a manual operation toward a floor panel (61) that is a floor surface near the driver's seat (76) and of which a lower portion is supported by a vehicle body such that the lower portion can be slid and displaced along an axial direction in an inclined posture in which a front side is lowered and a rear side is raised; a brake operation part (3) which is located at least below the manual operation region and activates a brake mechanism through the sliding displacement of the operation bar (2) in a front-down direction; and an accelerator operation part (4) that operates an accelerator mechanism through the sliding displacement of the operation bar (2) in a rear-up direction, which is coaxially opposite to the sliding displacement in the front-down direction.
