Abstract:
A droplet preparation device and a method. A chip (3) and a temperature control module (6) are both arranged in a chamber (5); the temperature control module (6) is used for regulating the temperature value of the interior of the chip (3); a pressure measurement unit (9) is used for measuring pressure data in the chamber (5); the top of the chip (3) is provided with a sample inlet port (31) and an oil storage port (32); a small hole cap (2) is provided with a vent hole (21) passing through same in the vertical direction; the small hole cap (2) can be elastically deformed up and down under an action of downward pressure, so as to change the volume of the vent hole (21). In the state in which the small hole cap (2) is directly connected to the oil storage port (32), the vent hole (21) is communicated with the oil storage port (32), and a downward pressing assembly (4) moves upward or downward to open or seal the top end of the vent hole (21); in the state in which the downward pressing assembly (4) seals the oil storage port (32), the chamber (5) can apply a positive pressure to the interior of the chip (3) by means of the sample inlet port (31), so that a pressure difference is formed in the chip (3). By controlling the temperature control module (6) and/or the downward pressing assembly (4), the generation speed and the size of a droplet can be regulated, and the droplet generation quality can be improved.
