Abstract:

Disclosed is a drum type washing machine, which can conduct the switching of a drive mode of a drive portion through a clutch mechanism portion (600) at high accuracy. A drive unit (30) comprises the drive motor (100) and a clutch mechanism portion (600), wherein the clutch mechanism portion (600) switches the drive mode of the drive unit (30) between a one-shaft drive mode and a two-shaft drive mode, the one-shaft drive mode being a mode that a wing shaft (200) which transmits rotation to a stirrer (24) and a drum shaft (300) which transmits rotation to a drum (22) integratedly rotate at the same rotation speed, and the two-shaft drive mode being a mode that the wing shaft (200) and the drum shaft (300) respectively rotate at different rotation speeds; a clutch body (610) of the clutch mechanism portion (600) is moved to a first position, and in the first position, a snap-fitting flange portion (613) is snap-fitted with a snap-fitted concave portion (114) which rotates with the rotation of the drive motor (100), thereby switching the drive mode to the one-shaft drive mode; and a control portion (701) performs the one-shaft switching process, the one-shaft switching process being the process that after the clutch mechanism portion (600) operates to move the clutch body (610) to the first position, the drive motor (100) rotates, so that the snap-fitting flange portion (613) which is not snap-fitted is snap-fitted with the snap-fitted concave portion (114).
