Abstract:
Disclosed are a DVR and a method for monitoring an images thereof. The DVR of the present invention divides a region to be monitored into a plurality of zones, saves image signals that are captured by a plurality of cameras, and commences monitoring of images, wherein the image signals are subject to video analytics for tracking and monitoring the movement of an object that is recognized in the monitored area, and information on image files from the camera, which is included in the tracking, can be maintained separately to be provided for further searches or a playback.
