Abstract:
The present invention provides: a dye-sensitized solar cell which has improved conversion efficiency; and a photoelectrode for dye-sensitized solar cells.
A dye-sensitized solar cell of the present invention is provided with a photoelectrode, a counter electrode that is provided so as to face the photoelectrode, and an electrolyte layer that is provided between the photoelectrode and the counter electrode. The photoelectrode is provided with a porous metal electrode, a porous metal oxide layer that supports a sensitizing dye, and a conductive light diffusion layer that is provided between the porous metal electrode and the porous metal oxide layer.
