Abstract:
This echo canceler (10) is provided with: a pseudo echo calculation unit (32) which calculates a pseudo echo signal by subjecting a series of received signals (x(n)) to filter calculations employing present and past filter coefficient groups that were used in an adaptive filter unit (20); an evaluation value calculation unit (34) which calculates an echo cancellation amount evaluation value on the basis of a transmission signal (y(n)) and the pseudo echo signal; a pseudo echo selection unit (35e) which selects estimated echo components from the pseudo echo components on the basis of said echo cancellation amount evaluation values; and a signal output unit (Sout) which outputs a residual signal (e(n)).
