Abstract:
The present invention provides a more user-friendly effect switcher. The effect switcher is provided with an output terminal for outputting, as an optical multiplexed signal, a plurality of first video signals transmitted to a multi-view processor. The effect switcher is further provided with, for example, an output terminal for outputting a single second video signal transmitted to the multi-view processor, and an information insertion unit for inserting information into the optical multiplexed signal, the information designating a display region for an image based on a single second video signal in a screen where an image based on each of the first video signals is displayed.
