Abstract:
The present invention provides an elastic wave device in which the response caused by Rayleigh waves is suppressed. An elastic wave device 1 comprises: an IDT electrode 5 that is provided upon a piezoelectric substrate; and reflector electrodes 6, 7 that are respectively disposed on both sides of the IDT electrode 5 in the elastic wave propagation direction, and have a plurality of electrode fingers 6a or 7a disposed with gaps therebetween. The elastic wave device 1 further comprises, in a region where the gaps and the plurality of electrode fingers 6a, 7a of the reflector electrodes 6, 7 are provided, dielectric films 10, 11 that are disposed between the piezoelectric substrate and the reflector electrodes 6, 7.
