Abstract:
An elastic wave filter (1) comprises one or more serial arm resonators and one or more parallel arm resonators, and also includes elastic wave resonators having IDT electrodes formed on a substrate. The substrate has a piezoelectric film (53) and a high-sonic support substrate (51). The IDT electrodes each have a pair of comb-shaped electrodes. Among a plurality of electrode fingers, an electrode finger that is not connected to any of busbar electrodes constituting the pair of comb-shaped electrodes is defined as a floating interleaved electrode, and among all the electrode fingers constituting the pair of comb-shaped electrodes, an electrode that is connected to an identical busbar electrode to which electrode fingers both adjacent to said electrode finger is connected is defined as a polarity-inverted interleaved electrode. In this configuration, at least one of the serial arm resonators has an IDT electrode which includes the polarity-inverted interleaved electrode, and at least one of the parallel arm resonators has an IDT electrode which includes the floating interleaved electrode.
