Abstract:
This steel material includes a steel sheet base material and a protective film formed at least partially on the surface of the steel sheet base material. The steel sheet base material has a chemical composition containing, in mass%, 0.25-0.65% of C, 0.05-2.00% of Si, 0.30-3.00% of Mn, 0.050% or less of P, 0.0100% or less of S, 0.010% or less of N, 0.010% or less of O, 0.05-1.00% of Cr, and 0.10-1.00% of Cu. The protective film has, when a measurement is performed thereon by an X-ray analysis using CuKα radiation, a peak where the peak intensity is more than 250% at a position where the diffraction angle (2θ) is 35.5±0.5°, when the peak intensity at a position where the diffraction angle (2θ) is 36.6±0.5° is defined as 100%. The steel material has a tensile strength of more than 1500 MPa.
