Abstract:
The present invention provides an electric chain block in which a limit switch can be pressed by a lower hook striking a body part and in which a link can be easily pulled into a chain inlet/outlet. A chain inlet/outlet 611, from which a load chain C1 on a load side is hauled in or paid out, has a first guide groove 620 having a first longitudinal groove 621 and a first lateral groove 622. The chain inlet/outlet 611 also has a second guide groove 630 that is provided on a deeper side of a body part 20 than the first guide groove 620 is and has a second longitudinal groove 631 and a second lateral groove 632. The first guide groove 620 has a narrowed section 623 that determines, when each link C1a of the load chain C1 is pulled in, into which of the first longitudinal groove 621 and the first lateral groove 622 the link C1a is introduced, and expanded groove sections 624 having a width larger than a groove width L2 and provided on the outer side, farther away from the center of the chain inlet/outlet 611, than the narrowed section 623 is.
