Abstract:
This electric circuit breaker comprises: a housing that contains an accommodating space extending in one direction as an outer shell member; an igniter provided in the housing; a projectile located in the housing, said projectile being launched from one end side of the accommodating space by energy received from the igniter and said projectile moving along the extension direction of the accommodating space; and a conducting strip held in the housing and forming part of an electric circuit, said conducting strip having a cutaway portion that is cut away by the movement of the projectile between a first connection end part and a second connection end part, said cutaway portion being located so as to cross the accommodating space. Said electric circuit breaker further comprises a housing body in which the housing contains a holding region, the holding region being a region of the accommodating space that is defined by an inner wall of the housing in which said conducting strip is held. Said body has an inner molded portion that is located so as to face the holding region and an outer molded portion that is formed separately from the inner molded portion and is located on the outer peripheral side of the inner molded portion.
