Abstract:
Proposed is an electric cleaner with which dust can be captured in a wide area of a filter simultaneously, and a decrease in suction force can be suppressed. An electric cleaner 3 is provided with: a primary electric blower 15 which generates a negative pressure; a second mesh filter 84 which filters and separates dust from air suctioned due to the negative pressure and including dust; a coarse dust collection chamber 71 which guides the air including dust to a second mesh filter 84; and a plurality of wind passageways 66a, 66b which guide air flowing out of the second mesh filter 84 to the primary electric blower 15. The coarse dust collection chamber 71 includes, in the vicinity of the second mesh filter 84, an expanding portion 85 having a sharply increasing wind passageway cross sectional area. The plurality of wind passageways 66a, 66b are arranged off the center of the second mesh filter 84 toward the edge of the second mesh filter 84, and are spaced apart from each other.
