Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an electric compressor with which noise caused by vibration of a cover member of an inverter-housing section can be reduced while ensuring vibration resistance of an inverter circuit board and minimizing any reduction of the mounting area of electronic components on the inverter circuit board. [Solution] In an electric compressor 1, an inverter 5 includes a circuit board 7 on which electronic components are mounted, and an inverter-housing section 6 that houses the inverter 5 includes a housing section body 61, a board-fixing section to which the circuit board 7 is fixed, and a cover member 62. Among the electronic components, predetermined electronic components such as a smoothing capacitor 51 and a filter capacitor 54a are fixedly placed on a cover-member-side surface of the circuit board 7 in a state of being mold-sealed with a thermosetting second insulating resin IR2, and a vibration-isolating member 70 for reducing vibrations of the cover member 62 is placed between the mold-sealed predetermined electronic component and the cover member 62.
