Abstract:
This electric compressor (ECP) comprises: a housing (10); a rotating shaft (20); a compression part (30); an electric motor (50); a shaft support member (40) including a first bearing part (411); and a second bearing part (17). The housing includes: an inner housing (16); a first outer housing (12) accommodating the inner housing; and a second outer housing (14) fixed to the first outer housing. Of the inner housing and the compression part, a portion located closest to one side in an axial direction of the rotating shaft is defined as a first end (E1), a portion located closest to the other side in the axial direction is defined as a second end (E2), and an intermediate portion (E3) is located between the first end and the second end. At this time, of the inner housing and the compression part, a portion of the intermediate portion is fixed to a fixed portion (FP) set in at least one of the first outer housing and the second outer housing, and is spaced apart from other portions, excluding the fixed portion, in a radial direction of the rotating shaft.
