Abstract:
Provided is an electric current sensor that is capable of suppressing measurement errors due to the effect of electric current flowing to another conductor adjacent to the conductor to which the electric current to be measured flows, and that is capable of expanding the frequency band of the electric current that can be measured. A magnetic sensor Pi (i = 1 to 3) is positioned on a first imaginary line LAi that passes through the center of two magnetic shields MHi, MLi in the width direction and that is perpendicular to an imaginary plane PL1, and the detection value of the magnetic sensor Pi is therefore less likely to be affected by an external magnetic field. The first imaginary line LAi, which passes through the center of the magnetic shields in the width direction, and the center of a conductor Ti in the width direction having an intersection with the first imaginary line LAi are offset from each other by a distance D, and therefore, even if the distance D from the center of the conductor Ti in the width direction to the electric current sensor Pi is small, the frequency characteristics of the detection sensitivity of the magnetic sensor Pi in relation to the frequency of the electric current to be measured can be improved on the high-pass side.
