Abstract:
Provided are: an electric drive device in which the dimensions in an axial direction parallel with the shaft of a motor and in a radial direction of the shaft are suppressed; and an electric power steering device. The electric drive device is provided with a bus bar module in which a connector, a first power supply terminal, a second power supply terminal, a positive electrode bus bar wire for electrically connecting the connector and the first power supply terminal, and a negative electrode bus bar wire for electrically connecting the connector and the second power supply terminal are integrally formed with the connector. The positive electrode bus bar wire and the negative electrode bus bar wire bypass the extension of the shaft from the connector and are electrically connected to a substrate body at a position where the distance from the connector is larger than the distance from the connector to the extension of the shaft.
